Assign Maintenance Jobs to Assets
1. The Maintenance module is used for scheduling routine jobs related to the Assets. In Pallet Connect, an Asset is equipment that the company owns or leases. Various tasks can be added within the maintenance job to add more description and specify the work that needs to be completed.
The General Manager, Admin staff and Warehouse Manager can create and view maintenance jobs. The Maintenance Manager user type, can only view and complete the jobs.
This article discusses how to assign a Maintenance Job to an Asset.
2. ASSIGN A JOB TO A GROUP OF ASSETS: A maintenance job can be assigned to an Asset type. This is useful when there are many assets of the same type, that need to be assigned the same job.
Navigate to the main menu. Click "Manage Maintenance Jobs"

3. Click on the selected job from the list.

4. Click on the Asset type from the list, that will be assigned the job. More than one Asset type can be selected.

5. Click "Save And Close" to complete.

6. TO ASSIGN A JOB TO AN INDIVIDUAL ASSET: From the main menu, click "Manage Assets".

7. Click on the Asset from the list.

8. Click this dropdown to select the job that will be assigned to the Asset.
The "Next Due Date" is the first or next occurrence date for the particular maintenance job. To change the date, click on the text box and use the drop down calendar to select a new date.

9. Click "Assign Job"

10. Click "Update Asset" to complete.

11. The save will be confirmed.

12. The assigned job will be displayed on the right side of the screen.
Click "Close" to return to the list.
