Creating a Brokered Vendor Request without a previously Linked Affiliate

1. This article explains how to create a brokered Vendor Request, when there is no affiliate linked to the Vendor.

The article will focus on a request that needs to be delivered by an Affiliate.

2. Navigate to the main menu and click "Brokerage"

3. Click "New Pickup Or Drop-off"

4. Click on the selected Vendor from the drop down list.

5. Click "Pickup Required"

6. Click "No" if pallets are NOT going to be counted at time of pick up. This creates an "unprocessed trailer" or "trailer load" on the request. This is the most common scenario for a pick up.

7. Trailer fees can be applied here - see related article on setting up Vendor fees.

8. Click "No" or "Yes" depending if this is a trailer switch.

In this article, "no" is chosen.

9. Click "Next"

10. Click this button to "Assign To Affiliate". This will assign an Affiliate to this request.

11. Click the "Start Typing To Search" field and type in the name of the Affiliate.

12. Click on the Affiliate from the drop down menu.

13. Click these number fields to enter transport costs.

14. Click "Check To Make This Affiliate Permanent" to keep the link between Vendor and Affiliate. If this is left blank the link will apply only to the transaction.

15. Click "Assign This Affiliate"

16. Click these fields to review pick up address information.

17. Click "Next"

18. Click these fields to add the date and time of the pick up.

19. Click "Next"

20. Add files and/or comments if needed. Then click "Confirm Pick Up".

21. Review the details and click "Confirm" to save.

22. Click "Review" to see full transaction details.

23. An Affiliate Linked Pick up request has been created for the Vendor.

24. Click here to view the linked transaction.

25. An Affiliate Pending charge has also been created for the Affiliate.

26. Once the pallet count has been entered by admin, the transaction is finalized.

The request automatically turns into an Affilliate Linked Rebate for the Vendor.

TIP! The count can also be entered directly by the Affiliate from the email link that is sent or from the Affiliate portal - see related articles.

27. Click here to view the linked transaction.

28. The Affiliate Linked Pending charge now automatically becomes the Affiliate Charge, for the Affiliate.
