1. If a Trailer is sold or removed from the company it needs to be deleted from the Pallet Connect site, so not to be assigned to a transaction.
This article explains how to delete a Trailer in Asset Manager, which can be accessed from the "Logistics" or "Asset" sections of the main menu.
2. Navigate to the main menu. Click "Assets"
3. Click "Manage Assets"
4. The Asset Manager page shows all assets, including Trailers.
5. If needed, the list can be filtered by asset type. Select the "Trailers" option.
NOTE: Asset Manager can also be accessed from the "Logistics" section of the main menu.
From "Logistics", click on "Manage Trailers".
6. Click on the selected Trailer from the list.
7. On the "Edit Asset" page, click this checkbox to uncheck "Active"
8. Click "Update Asset" to save changes.
9. Click "×" to return to the list.
10. The Trailer is no longer active in the system.
11. The deleted Trailer can still be viewed if needed.
Click "Only Show Active Assets" to un-toggle the option.
12. The deleted Trailer can now be viewed on the list.
