How to Enter Counts by Stack on the Count Sheet

1. The count sheet in Pallet Connect allows a received trailer load (unprocessed trailer) to be sorted and counted. Information from the count sheet is used to create a Vendor Rebate.

The default count sheets allows for totals of each item to be added (see image below).

There is a second option to add the counts per stack. This is useful when counts are entered directly into the system e.g. via kiosk. This article explains how to set up and use the feature.

2. Navigate to the main menu and click "Settings".

3. Click "System Settings"

4. Click this search field and type "enter counts", or search for the feature in the "production" section of the system settings.

5. Click here to enable "enter counts by stack".

6. Click "Save Settings"

7. From the "Unprocessed Trailers" page, click on the trailer to sort.

8. Information can be added at the top of the page e.g. trailer number.

9. Select an employee from the drop down menu to record who carried out the count.

10. The first stack count will be entered here.

11. Each stack count will be visible here.

12. Once the count for the first stack is entered, click "Add New Stack" or "next" to continue to the next stack.

13. The first stack total shows and a new stack is started. The counts for Stack #2 can now be entered.

TIP! Click on the pencil icon to edit a stack.

14. All stacks will be displayed during the process and the total count is also visible.

15. Linked items are automatically displayed for counts, however new items can be added.

Click on "Add An Item" and start typing to search active stock items.

16. The different items listed can be counted within one stack.

17. Files and comments can be added to the count sheet.

18. Once the count is finished it can be reviewed as the count sheet shows the total and the breakdown by stock item.

19. Click "Finalize And Save"

20. Once reviewed click "Confirm" to save.

21. Once saved, a Vendor Rebate is automatically created.
