How to Generate a Delivery Slip(BOL) using Broker paperwork

1. When a company is acting as an Affiliate for a Broker, Pallet Connect has a tool to allow the Broker paperwork to be used for the delivery slip (Bill Of Lading).

This will override the Pallet Connect paperwork and mimic the Broker's document within the system.

TIP! A Broker template can also be uploaded onto the Pallet Connect system. See related article.

2. Use normal workflow to search for the transaction in the system. Click "Menu" from the slide out page.

3. Click "Delivery Slip"

4. OR click 'Review' from the slide out screen. Open the 'Menu' and click "Delivery Slip"

5. The Pallet Connect paperwork will be displayed.

Click the "Replace With PDF" button.

6. Click "Click To Attach Pdf"

Choose the Broker paperwork from the computer files.

TIP! A blank PDF copy of the Broker paperwork must be available on the computer.

7. The Broker's paperwork will now be displayed, ready to customize.

Click the "BOL Number:" field to add a delivery slip number.

8. The text fields can now be added e.g. "Customer Signature"

9. Drag and drop the text box onto the page, where it should be populated on the document. Use as many of the text fields on the list, as needed.

10. Click "Show Preview"

11. This shows a preview of the text placement for review.

12. Click these drop-downs to change the font type and size, as needed.

13. Click "Save Document" to complete. This will now be used in place of the Pallet Connect paperwork as a delivery slip(BOL), when sent to Customers.

TIP! This will need to be completed for each transaction. The placement of the text boxes will be remembered in the system however, so continuing replacements will be time effective.
