Pallet Connect Kiosk Log-In Explained
1. The kiosk log in allows employees to enter data directly into the Pallet Connect system. The kiosk can be used to capture production, record trailer loads counts and even receive a supplier purchase order.
NOTE: Kisok log in is not available for every subscription package. Refer to your pricing package information or contact support.
TIP! The kiosk log-in can be used in different ways. It is common for a company to purchase a tablet that is used as a kiosk. The tablet can then be set on a stand.
A tablet arm can be used is to mount the kiosk onto a forklift or close to a machine or production area.
2. CREATING A KIOSK
Navigate to the main menu. Click "Devices"
3. Click "Kiosks"
4. NOTE: Existing kiosks are listed.
5. To create a new kiosk, click "Add New Kiosk"
6. Click the "Description" field to name the kiosk
7. A user name/email address is auto generated from the name.
8. Choose which facility the kiosk will be located.
NOTE: Only 1 location can be chosen. All kiosk names need to be unique. For example a kiosk named "production kiosk" cannot be set up in 2 facilities, there will be an error message for duplicates.
9. Click "Create Device" to save.
10. The kiosk will now show in the list on Manage Kiosks
11. SETTING UP THE KIOSK
Click on a selected kiosk to view details.
12. Click "Link App To Device"
TIP: Prior to linking, download the Pallet Connect app onto the device.
13. On the device click on "connect to my account" from the app and type in the number provided.
The app on the device will now be synced to the kiosk log in.
14. USING THE KIOSK
For employees to access the kiosk a 4 digit PIN is used.
TIP! This PIN can be found in the employee profile.
15. The kiosk opens on the dashboard.
NOTE: The dashboard can vary slightly depending on the allocated employee department.
For example "Capture Build" will not be available to an employee that is not assigned as a "builder" in the system.
16. From the dashboard, the employee can choose the capture type e.g Capture repair.
17. The employee will follow the steps to complete the capture as usual.
