Quickbooks Online: How Taxes are Exported from Pallet Connect
1. When mapping taxes from Pallet Connect to Quickbooks Online there are two options:
- map TAX to all tax rates above 0%
- map NON to all exempt or 0% rates
This means that the mapping only looks to see if there is tax applied or not. The actual tax rate is not taken into account.
If there is tax applied to a transaction, when it is exported, the tax rules set up in the Quickbooks system are used.
Therefore the tax rules for contacts should match in Pallet Connect and Quickbooks, so the information is the same.
Make sure that "Sales Tax" rules are applied to your Customers and "Purchase Tax" rules are applied to your Vendors/Suppliers.
