Setting Up a Salesperson/CSR in Pallet Connect
1. A Salesperson or CSR can be added as a user in Pallet Connect. They can be assigned to contacts within the system, and can be set up to receive commission related to transactions.
TIP! CSR and Salesperson are the same user type in Pallet Connect.
2. STEP 1: SET UP SALESPERSON/CSR AS A USER: Navigate to the main menu. Click "Users".
3. Click on the "Add a New User" button in the top right hand corner of the page.
Enter details into the profile, for example Name and Email address.
Click the "Group" dropdown to choose "CSR" as the User Group. This assigns them to the Sales/CSR user type.
4. Click this checkbox to allow the CSR/Sales to see all contacts e.g. Customers, Vendors, Suppliers.
TIP! If this is not checked then the CSR/Sales can only see contact profiles that are assigned to them.
5. Click the "Options" tab.
6. The Options tab contains further settings. For example, if they can accept emails or if their transactions need to be approved.
7. Click "Update User" to save changes.
8. STEP 2: ASSIGN CSR/SALES TO CONTACT: CSRs can be assigned to a contact account. For this article the CSR will be linked to a Customer.
