Stock: Barcode Origin Report

The Barcode Origin Report gives clear, practical traceability of lumber as it moves through purchasing, cutting and pallet building. Each of the barcode represents a step, linking everyday production activities into one continuous history so any finished pallet can be tracked back to the supplier it came from.

Please see guided steps below on how to utilize this report in day to day operations.

Note: For this to work properly, each step of the process requires the barcode to be SCANNED, so it will generate the report correctly.

From the Main Menu > Stock > Select 'Barcode Origin Report'.

The report will show all the history of the barcode from purchasing to building a pallet. Below is a screenshot of an example of how to track lumber origin of a pallet.

  1. A search bar is provided to enter any barcode that has been registered in the system.
  2. Selecting the eye icon opens the original transaction page for detailed viewing.
  3. The summary section displays key information, including the reference number, date, contact, transaction type, employee or workstation, stock item, quantity, and BF quantity.
  4. The report can be downloaded as a PDF file, which generates a printable document reflecting the current report view.
