System Settings: How to Enable Custom Name for Internal Use
1. The "Prefer Custom Name Internally" setting controls how names are shown on internal documents like load sheets. Custom names are used to input the name the Customer uses for a item, if it differs from the internal name.
Internal documents normally display only internal names, not the Customer's preferred names, since they are used for internal processes e.g. loading.
Enabling this setting allows custom names to be used internally also, such as on the Bill of Materials or load sheets.
To enable this setting, please follow the steps below:
- From the main menu o to Settings > System Settings.

2. 2. Click Application

3. 3. Look for "Prefer Custom Name Internally" setting. This will be a toggle button.

4. 4. Click Save.

5. 5. NOTE: A Custom name must be entered into the system for this setting to be relevant.
Enter a custom name for the stock. Once this is saved, this name will appear on internal documents, such as the Bill of Materials (BOM) and load sheets.

6. 6. This is how it will appear on the Bill of Materials (BOM):

7. 7. This is how it will appear on the Load Sheet.
