How To Create A Customer Order From A Template
The Order Template tool is a time saving feature. This can be used for Customers that repeat transactions. It eliminates the need for entering the same order each time. This article explains how to apply the template to a Customer Order.
1. Navigate to 'New Customer Order' within the Customers section of the main menu.


2. Choose the selected Customer from the drop down menu.

3. Click "Create From Template"

4. Choose the selected template from the drop down menu.
TIP! A template needs to be active in the Customer profile to appear in the menu.

5. The template contains the stock item and quantity needed for the order.
Now select the expected date of delivery or collection, using the calendar.
TIP! More than one date can be chosen to create multiple orders.


6. Click "Next"

7. Review the stock item information as needed.
Reference number options are shown. "Unique order numbers" will be used by default, however purchase order numbers can be used. The same number or sequential numbers can be chosen.
TIP! For order numbers to be sequential, ensure the order ends with a number to continue the sequence.

8. Click "Next"

9. Review the order summary and click 'Confirm' to finalize.
If multiple orders have been chosen then they will be displayed in list form.


10. Once confirmed, a summary is shown. Click on an order to view details.


11. TIP! In the slide out screen menu, this order can be repeated as needed.
